SALON POLICY

Consultations / Deposits 

Your first Consultation at the salon is free of charge. 

If you require more than one consultation you will be required to pay $30.

Please arrive to your appointment alone, unless you are accompanied by your parent/ guardian (16 years and under). Please be advised that no pets are to attend your appointment with you. 

​

Newborn babies permitted; however, you are responsible for the safety of the baby and/ or equipment brought into the salon; and Hair by Brooke C is not liable for any damage that may occur within the salon. 

​

Please be 100% sure before booking any appointment as all deposits are non-refundable. The remaining balance will be due for payment on day of service appointment completed. 

Deposits & Cancellations

If you have paid a deposit and cancel your appointment without rescheduling, your deposit will be held for 8 weeks from the original booking date. Please note that deposits do not cover the cost of hair extensions. If an appointment is cancelled without rebooking, the salon will be out of pocket for the cost of the ordered hair.

 Ordering of Hair

 If your appointment is scheduled for 3 weeks or more from the initial consultation, you have a 12-hour window to change your mind regarding hair colour, length, or extension method before the hair order is placed. After this 12-hour period, any changes will result in the loss of your deposit, and a new deposit will be required to order different hair. For appointments booked within 3 weeks of the consultation, once the deposit is paid, no changes to hair colour, length, or method of extensions will be accepted. 

Confirmation Text

All booked appointments will receive a confirmation text 48hrs prior to service. If you do not respond within 12 hours of your service Hair by Brooke c reserves the right to cancel an unconfirmed appointment. 

 Cancellation Policy 

 We have a strict 48-hour cancellation policy. All bookings require a deposit of 50% of the appointment price and required at time of booking. Appointments can be rescheduled once before 48 hours, less than 48 hours the booking fee will be forfeited.

Appointments are scheduled with a specific duration based on the time needed to provide the service. If a client alters the service requirements within 48 hours of the appointment, resulting in a change to the scheduled time, a $100 fee will be applied to cover the loss of income. 

 No Show 

If you fail to attend your appointment without notifying us, you will be required to pay the full amount of your appointment. This payment will need to be made before you can make any future appointments with us. 

Late Arrivals 

Please plan your journey in advance, allowing enough time to arrive to your appointment as scheduled. If you have not visited our salon before, please enquire beforehand to find out about our location.

Anything over 15 minutes late, without advising, will be deemed as a no show and you will be required to pay for the full appointment. We work on a tight schedule and are considerate of other clients’ appointments confirmed. We respect that your time is valuable, and we appreciate that you understand ours is too. 

Unwell 

If a client is unwell, showing any flu/Covid signs or symptoms, or any other contagious illness, please CANCEL your booking as early as possible, to avoid being turned away.

Bullying/ Harassment Not Tolerated 

Hair By Brooke C reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who performs any act of violence; shouting, swearing, arguing, or disputing salon and supplier protocol. You will be required to leave the premises immediately, with all future service request/ appointments declined.

Additionally, any abusive or argumentative contact via social media or text message will not be tolerated and service requests or appointments will also be declined. 

Concerns

At Hair by Brooke C, we strive to achieve 100% satisfaction with our clients, ensuring they are beyond happy with the final result. If you have any concerns following your appointment, please contact Hair by Brooke C to discuss the issue and determine the appropriate course of action. All concerns must be raised within 48 hours of your service to allow time for a potential follow-up appointment within the next 3 days, if needed. 

Warranty/ Liability 

Hair by Brooke c will not be liable for hair extensions that have been coloured or maintained at another salon or at home.

We will only warrant our hair extensions that have been maintained at Hair By Brooke C and when the recommended haircare products have been used. 

We recommend our in-Salon Haircare Range, Melissa Jade Extensions which are available for purchase in the salon and online through the website. www.hairbybrookec.com.au 

​

If there is an issue with the application of the hair extensions, whether the extension has become loose, Hair by Brooke C will provide a free service to rectify. 

​

If there are any issue(s) with the hair extensions, due to mistreatment by the client, a service call will be chargeable for the rectification. 

​

Please note Hair by Brooke C is not liable for any allergic reactions, skin sensitivities, or other adverse effects that may occur because of hair extensions or hair care products used during or after your service. It is the client’s responsibility to disclose any known allergies or sensitivities prior to the appointment. 

​

If a client believes their hair extensions are faulty, the hair must be returned to the salon so it can be sent to the supplier for further investigation. If the supplier confirms the fault, the hair extensions will be replaced and any necessary corrective service provided at no additional cost.

 

However, if the investigation deems the issue to be caused by the clients’ misuse or improper care, the extensions will be returned, and no further service will be provided unless additional payment is made. 

Payment Options

At Hair by Brooke C, accepted payment methods include Cash, EFTPOS, Afterpay, and Zip Pay. Payment plans are not available or accepted. For clients using Afterpay or Zip Pay, payment must be processed at the beginning of the appointment to avoid any issues. If a payment app fails during the appointment, an alternative payment method will be required before the service can begin. All other payment methods must be paid in full upon completion of the service. If these payment terms are not met, the appointment will be cancelled, and the service will not proceed. 

Acknowledgement/ Client Confirmation 

You will be asked to sign the Salon Policies in the salon before your appointment commences. By signing, you confirm you have agreed with the terms and conditions stated in the policy provided by Hair by Brooke C. Failure to follow the policy will result in the refusal of service and future appointments.
